"I want to be free"... But do you? What do you mean by free will?
In this video, I question the assertion made by many people that they want to be free, and argue that in doing so, they actually make themselves less free than their prior state.
This concept of free will, and more importantly the desire for free will, is developed in the works of Dostoevsky and Berdyaev, and in this video I attempt to make their literary argument into more concrete and philosophical illustration.
